Situation:
First Carolina Care provides insurance coverage for many types of businesses. Their clients range from local government offices to small, medium and large businesses throughout their coverage area. When a customer comes on board with First Carolina Care there is a large amount of orientation information that First Carolina Care needs to present in order to educate the
customer and the customer’s employees.
This material covers topics ranging from specific insurance plan benefits, to necessary forms, to which department
contacts are available for an individuals specific need. With some customers covering hundreds of employees at once, the traditional group orientation is a costly and time consuming task. The process is costly and time consuming for both First Carolina Care and their customers.
Solution:
First Carolina Care approached Airstream Media looking for an alternative to their traditional group orientations. Through our
in-house film and video production company, Filmmakers, Inc., Airstream Media produced a training orientation DVD. The DVD delivers multiple videos produced specifically to address the individual needs of the end user.
First Carolina Care also needed to be able to use the finished DVD as an introduction to their company. A leadership and mission “soft sell” marketing piece was produced as well as a customer testimonial segment.
